We collect information you provide directly when using vid3k:

• Account information — Email address and password when you register.
• Input content — Scripts and reference images you upload for video generation.
• Generated content — Videos produced by the Service on your behalf.
• Usage data — Job history, settings preferences, and interaction logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the video generation service.
• To authenticate your identity and maintain account security.
• To process your scripts and images through our AI pipeline.
• To store and deliver your generated videos.
• To send transactional emails (verification codes, password resets).
• To improve the Service and fix issues.

3. Video Processing

When you submit a job, your script and reference image are sent to our processing servers. The pipeline uses third-party AI services to generate video clips and transcribe audio. Your input content is used solely to produce your requested video and is not used to train AI models.

Generated videos are stored until you delete them or your account is terminated.

4. Data Storage

We use the following infrastructure to store your data:

• Cloudflare R2 — Media files (reference images and generated videos) are stored in S3-compatible object storage with zero-egress pricing.
• Neon Postgres — Account data, job metadata, and configuration are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database.

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS). Database connections are encrypted at rest and in transit.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with the following third-party providers:

• Atlas Cloud API — Video generation (Veo 3.1 Lite). Your script and image are sent to their API for processing.
• OpenAI Whisper — Audio transcription for caption timing.
• Resend — Transactional email delivery (verification codes, password resets).

Each provider processes data according to their own privacy policies. We select providers that meet reasonable data-handling standards.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Generated videos and associated metadata are retained until you delete them. If your account is terminated, we delete your data within 30 days, unless required to retain it by law.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data and account.
• Export your data in a portable format.
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.

8. Cookies

vid3k uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
