Terms of Service

vid3k (“the Service”) is a workspace for making short-form video ads. You bring links, references, scripts and media; the Service helps you import products, analyze references, generate images, video, voice, avatars and text, and edit everything into finished videos.

Access is by invitation. You need an email address that has been approved for sign-up, and you confirm it with a one-time code.

Keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for everything done under your account. We may suspend or revoke access at any time.

Work happens in spaces. Everything in a space — sources, media, scripts and renders — is shared with every member of that space.

• The owner and admins of a space decide who is in it and what each member can do.
• Content made in a space stays with that space when a member leaves or is removed.
• Your personal space is visible only to you.

You keep all rights to what you put into vid3k: uploads, photos, music, scripts, brand details and recordings. You give us permission to store, process and transmit it only as needed to run the Service for you and your spaces.

You are responsible for having the rights to everything you import or upload. Posts you import from other platforms are for reference and analysis inside your space; importing one does not give you the right to republish it.

Images, video, audio and text the Service produces for you are yours to use, for commercial and personal purposes, subject to these terms and to any restrictions of the third-party services used to produce them.

Generated output can be inaccurate, unexpected or similar to other people's work. Review everything before you publish it, and make sure your ads follow the rules of the platforms you run them on and the advertising laws that apply to you, including disclosing paid or sponsored content.

vid3k doesn't include a music or sound effects library. Any music or sound you add is yours to supply, and you are responsible for having the rights to use it in your ads.

Even properly licensed music can trigger an automated copyright claim on some platforms. We can't prevent those claims.

Don't use the Service to:

• Make illegal, harmful, hateful or harassing content.
• Depict a real person in a misleading way, or suggest they endorse something, without their permission.
• Clone or imitate someone's voice without their permission.
• Make claims about a product that you can't back up.
• Upload or import material you don't have the right to use.
• Probe, overload, reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service, or get around its limits.
• Resell or share access to the Service without our permission.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Generation times vary with load, and we may change features or set usage limits — such as one generation at a time per person — to keep it fast for everyone.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, vid3k is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access at any time, with or without cause or notice. When access ends, your right to use the Service ends with it; videos you already downloaded remain subject to these terms.

We may update these terms. We'll email registered users about material changes, and continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
